Lutheran wins at Oregon

The Oregon Hawks could not stop Rockford Lutheran in the second half, as the Hawks fell 55-36 in the championship game of the Oregon tournament Saturday. 

Lutheran outscored the Hawks 36-16 after Oregon led 20-19 at half. 

Emylyn Wright scored 12 points for Oregon (3-1). No other Hawk scored more than four. 

Rachel Konieczki had 15 points for Lutheran (4-0). 

Prophetstown 48, Mendota 34: Clare Kramer scored 19 points as the Prophets got back on the winning track by taking the third-place game against the Trojans. 

Riley Walters added nine points for Prophetstown (3-1). 

Rockford Christian 36, Fulton 30: Morgan Sanquist scored 11 points as the Steamers fell in the fifth-place game. 

Morgan Sanquist scored 11 points for Fulton (2-2). 

Amboy 51, Pecatonica 35: The Clippers finished the tournament on a high note, beating Pecatonica in the seventh-place game.

Brooke Lovgren scored 14 points for Amboy (2-2). Autumn Smith added nine. 

Lauren Owens had nine points for Pecatonica (1-3). 

Polo 34, Milledgeville 25: Brecken Albrecht scored 10 points as Polo took 11th place with a win over the Missiles. 

Aleetra Roberts and KeeLey Meyer each scored eight points for Polo (2-3). 

Millegeville (0-4) was led by Taylor Grenoble's 11 points. 

Oregon 47, Prophetstown 46: The Hawks advanced to final by holding on for a one-point win over the Prophets in the semifinal. 

Prophetstown's Cassie Reiley hit six 3-pointers, including four in the fourth quarter as the Prophets rallied from 14 points down after three quarter. Reiley finished with 21 points. Riley Walters added 17. 

Emylyn Wright had 13 points for Oregon. McKaylee Beeter added 10.

Rockford Christian 35, Amboy 19: The Clippers offense never got going in a loss to Rockford Christian. 

Autumn Smith had six points while Brooke Lovgren and Kennedy Dinges each had five.

Fulton 50, Pecatonica 43: Morgan Sanquist scored 17 points and Morgan Wierema had 13 point as the Steamers advanced to the fifth-place game.   

Katherine Wayne had 12 points for Fulton.

Ottawa Marquette 54, Polo 27: Aleetra Roberts had 16 points, nine rebounds and a steal as the Marcos dropped their third game at the Ottawa tournament. 

Brecken Albrecht added five points.

Hall 40, Milledgeville 28: Courtney Swalve had nine points as the Missiles fell to the Red Devils. 

Kayleigh Leddy added sevens points.
