College student earns recognition

NORMAL – Joe Cecchetti, a junior in engineering technology at Illinois State University, recently was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Chapter 126 of the Association for Facilities Engineering.

Cecchetti is the son of Mark and Julie Cecchetti of Dixon. The scholarship is given based upon grade point average, extracurricular activities, honors received and behavior patterns embodying the principles of the engineering profession.
