Tea to be served Monday at church

ASHTON – The United Methodist Women will have their annual Christmas Tea at 7 p.m. Monday at Ashton United Methodist Church, 906 Richardson Ave.

The event is free and open to community women.

Mary Ley of Oregon will provide the entertainment. She plays the harp, Indian flute, classical guitar, penny whistle and other folk instruments.

Fellowship, Christmas music and refreshments are planned.
