Answer big questions in search of truth

Published: Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 1:15 a.m. CST

The knee-jerk, liberal response to so many things just kills me. And it’s like they are condemned to respond that way, in spite of any and all evidence to the contrary.

Whether it’s issues of life and death, economics, sexuality and family life, or theism versus anti-theism, dare I say it, their stupidity knows no bounds. Do I become the poster child of arrogance?

I believe, and expose my prejudicial approach to what is, and what ain’t, that to arrive at any semblance of truth, one could take a cue from the word of God. In Romans 3:4, it states, “Let God be true and every man a liar.”

Why, who does he think he is? God?

I know these questions go to faith and philosophy. So? Everything does. We are all going on record. There is a lot on the line here. Everything hinges on the big questions like, what is truth, and how is it to be found?

To briefly go on record concerning the killing at Newtown, how about looking at what’s broke? The guns obviously worked. The man was very broken.
