Dateline Dixon: You have questions, I’ll look for answers

DIXON – I want your questions.

As many of you may have read recently, the city is suing its auditors for not detecting the millions former comptroller Rita Crundwell stole from city accounts.

Is there anything you don’t understand or would like to discuss about it? Anything you would like to share – and this goes for anything in regard to the city of Dixon?

I will do my best to answer any question you may have, and if I don’t have the answers, I will seek them.

Reminder, I will be at Books on First, 202 W. First St., from 1 to 2 p.m. today for my weekly office hours, or if you cannot make it you can catch me at the Telegraph office, 113 S. Peoria Ave. You can also contact me at dbarichello@saukvalley.com or 800-798-4085, ext. 526.

I want to keep an open forum with the community. That way we can work together to best inform each other and keep a watch over the city.

I look forward to seeing you today.
