Red Cross classes start Feb. 9 in Rock Falls

ROCK FALLS – The American Red Cross will have First Aid and CPR/AED courses in February and March.

The instruction also covers how to prevent and respond to emergencies, choking, how to control bleeding, and how to handle seizures. To be eligible for a review course, students must have a current class certification.

The classes are:

■ Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED, Identification No. 01942861: 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 9, $90.

■ Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED, ID No. 01943031, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 9, $110.

■ Adult CPR/AED, ID No. 01943492: 8 to 11 a.m. March 9, $70.

■ Adult First/Aid CPR/AED, ID No. 01943626: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 9, $90.

■ Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED review, ID No. 01943912: 6 to 9:30 p.m. March 11, $70.

■ Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED review, ID No. 01934798: 6 to 10: 30 p.m. March 11, $90.

All courses are at the American Red Cross Lincoln Land Branch, 112 W. Second St. Mention code WINBACK0213 to receive a 20 percent discount on February classes.

Red Cross training courses meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines.
