Center to display all kinds of art

CLINTON, Iowa – The 100th anniversary of the Lincoln Highway and the 75th anniversary of the Great River Road will be celebrated this summer.

From June 12 to July 28, the River Arts Center, 229 Fifth Ave. S., will display original art entries.

Any medium, realistic or representational, depicting life on either road, such as land, river, cityscapes, people, culture, and wildlife will be accepted.

For entry details, call the center at 563-243-3300 for details. The gallery is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
