Adults, children needed as helpers

DIXON – Registration is under way for the Summer Reading Program, “Visit Book Island,” at Dixon Public Library, 221 S. Hennepin Ave.

To register, stop by the library’s youth department with a library card. Children who live outside the city limits may purchase a Summer Reading Program card for $10. It will serve as a library card through Aug. 31.

The program will run from June 3 to July 13.

Volunteers are needed to help out. Adults and children ages 11 to 14 may sign up for craft volunteer slots at any time.
