DIXON – A motion to again reduce the bond of a Dixon man accused of sexually abusing a teenager will be heard June 6 in Lee County Court.
Nikos Kastrinsios, 41, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and possession of child pornography. His bond, originally $50,000, was reduced to $10,000; he must post 10 percent, or $1,000, to be released from Lee County Jail.
His attorney, Andrew Bollman, wants it reduced further.
Kastrinsios appeared via teleconference at the hearing, at which Bollman also told the judge that the prosecution has turned over needed evidence.
Police say that Kastrinsios had oral sex with a boy younger than 17 in December 2010, and that a search of his home turned up child pornography.
