Rockford man gets 375 years in sexual assault case
ROCKFORD (AP) — A Rockford man convicted of robbing and sexually assaulting two women in 2010 has been sentenced to 375 years in prison.
The sentence imposed on Thursday comes several months after 32-year-old Jamie Dock was convicted by a jury of multiple counts of armed robbery and aggravated criminal sexual assault.
The Rockford Register Star (http://bit.ly/12AZEPE) reports that during the trial, prosecutors alleged that both women were sexually assaulted at gunpoint. One of the victims identified Dock in a police lineup and DNA evidence from a can of Dr. Pepper that one of the victims said Dock drank from also linked Dock to the crime.
Judge Joseph McGraw imposed a 75-year sentence for each offense to total 375 years.
