Closures for Columbus holiday

STERLING – Federal offices and banks will be closed Monday for the Columbus Day holiday.

Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Chadwick, Dixon, Oregon, and Sterling are closed today for the holiday. The facilities will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday. They always are closed on Mondays.

Libraries closed Monday include Dixon, Polo, and Mills and Petrie Library in Ashton.

Libraries remaining open are Chadwick, Franklin Grove, Mount Morris, Oregon, Rock Falls, Sterling, and Odell Public Library in Morrison.
