During the 2012 primary election, U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger repeatedly attacked conservative Republicans in the 16th District for supporting Rep. Don Manzullo.
Kinzinger has continued those attacks with his comments to any media outlet that will put a camera or microphone in front of him directed at conservative members of the House, the Tea Party, and especially Sen. Ted Cruz.
We don’t need as our representative someone who attacks the GOP base and our leading vocal opponent of President Obama’s failed policies. We don’t need a representative who willingly wanted to use the U.S. military in Syria in order to help al-Qaida terrorists.
And we certainly don’t need a representative who would vote for a bill that included a $2 billion “kickback” for Kentucky [a $2.9 billion locks and dam project], a $174,000 gift for a multimillionaire widow, a pay raise to federal employees, and an increase in the national debt of $328 billion in one day, while not including any changes or delays to Obamacare or any spending reforms.
What we Republicans in the 16th District need is to make David Hale our congressman.
