SwedishAmerican Health System won eight ADDY awards from the Rockford Chapter of the American Advertising Federation during the Feb. 13 awards celebration.
The health system’s Marketing department took home two gold, two silver and three bronze awards. The company also was awarded Judge’s Choice Award for its “Powerful Weapon” 30 second television ad and for its electronic and print advertisements surrounding the new Regional Cancer Center, which opened in October, and its Cardiology Millennium Conference in February.
Staff who contributed to the award-winning materials include Brian Reck, director, marketing services and government relations; Paul Greenland, manager, marketing and public information; Kristen Mattingly, graphic designer; Tom Massari, internal marketing specialist; and Viki Irwin, administrative assistant.
The ADDY awards competition is sponsored by the Northern Illinois Rockford Chapter of the AAF. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. Gold ADDY winners, including SwedishAmerican Health System, will advance to the district and national competitions later in the year.
SwedishAmerican also operates clinics in Byron and Rochelle.
