One injured Tuesday in single-vehicle crash
LEE COUNTY – A Rock Falls woman was injured Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash at state Route 2 and Mound Hill Road.
State police troopers responded to the scene at 9:04 p.m. An investigation revealed that a car driven by Brooke A. Sotelo-Bender, 19, was westbound on state Route 2 when the car left the roadway and entered the center median. The car continued through the median before it came to rest in the eastbound lanes.
Sotelo-Bender was taken to CGH Medical Center in Sterling by CGH ambulance. Her condition was unavailable Thursday.
