BorgWarner Co. earns recognition

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – BorgWarner Turbo Systems received an AutomotiveINNOVATIONS Award 2014 during a recent ceremony in Frankfurt, Germany.

Organized by the Center of Automotive Management and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the company was honored in the Powertrain Technology category for a variety of turbocharging technologies, including regulated two-stage and three-stage turbocharging systems and variable turbine geometry turbochargers.

The company also honored 119 employees from its worldwide operations for operational excellence, product development, customer excellence and collaboration.

James R. Verrier, president and chief executive officer, presented 21 winners with the Innovation Excellence Award for their exceptional contributions to the company’s success.

BorgWarner has a plant in Dixon.
