The NBA released the schedule for 2014. Here are five key games for the Bulls, who are a preseason favorite in the Eastern Conference.
Oct. 29 at Knicks: A second straight season opens on the road, and gives the Bulls a chance to show Carmelo Anthony he made a mistake by not coming to Chicago.
Oct. 31 vs. Cavaliers: The home opener also just happens to be what many consider an Eastern Conference finals preview. Just try to hear Derrick Rose's intro over the roar.
Dec. 25 vs. Lakers: Carlos Boozer and Pau Gasol face their old teams, Kobe Bryant loves dialing it up for Chicago fans, and the Bulls grab their fifth straight holiday honor.
Jan. 27 at Warriors: A six-game, 14-day trip begins against a Steve Kerr-coached team that typically pummels the Bulls at home. Game on in Oakland.
April 5 at Cavaliers: The four-game season series ends 10 days before the regular season does. So this one could have some playoff positioning ramifications.
