Set a weekend course for Sublette Car Show

The personal vehicle of Kaiser-Frazer founder Henry J. Kaiser is one of many classic vehicles that will be on display at the annual Sublette Car Show on Sept. 6 on U.S. Route 52 across from Vaessen Bros. Chevrolet.

SUBLETTE – Got a Mustang? Your chance to show it off is Sept. 6 at the annual Sublette Car Show.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. on U.S. Route 52, across from Vaessen Bros. Chevrolet.

Owners of antique, unique and collectible cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles interested in displaying their rides should call 815-713-5675. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Mustang.

Registration is $5 per car. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and music, and food will be sold.

An extensive Kaiser-Frazer collection will be showcased, as well as Willys-Overland, Hudson and Nash vehicles.
